Abstract: Love had been treated as a central and recurring theme in the poetry of Sarojini Naidu, one of the most celebrated voices of Indian English literature. Her poetic corpus had reflected love in its multifaceted forms—romantic, spiritual, familial, and patriotic— imbued with emotional depth, lyrical grace, and cultural richness. The present study had undertaken a thematic analysis of love in Sarojini Naidu’s poetry, focusing on how love had been portrayed as a transformative force shaping human emotions, identity, and experience. Drawing upon selected poems from her major collections such as The Golden Threshold, The Bird of Time, and The Broken Wing, the study had explored Naidu’s poetic treatment of love through imagery, symbolism, and musicality. The analysis had been supported by critical perspectives and scholarly interpretations using APA-style intext citations. The study had revealed that love in Naidu’s poetry had transcended mere romantic expression and had emerged as a spiritual, emotional, and cultural phenomenon deeply rooted in Indian ethos.
